October Charity Contribution
Stuart Robinson has chosen the Bradley Lowery Foundation to receive this month’s charity contribution.
Bradley Lowery was a 6-year-old boy with the biggest smile you will ever see. He lived in a village close to where I live. He was sadly diagnosed with Neuroblastoma as a baby. A terminal childhood cancer. Bradley sadly gained his wings in July 2017 but touched the hearts of people not only in the UK but Internationally. I had the great pleasure to meet Bradley in December 2016 while myself and my daughter volunteered our time to open Christmas cards that had been sent from around the world to try to break a record. He received 250,000 cards from many countries around the world. After he sadly gained his wings his family set up the Bradley Lowery Foundation to help other children who tragically must fight these types of childhood disease. In Bradleys memory my 10-year-old son now plays football for a team called Bradley Improtech FC and all their shirts carry Bradley’s name on the back. The donation will go to help the Foundation give these children and their families help and support at a time when it is greatly needed.
