Paper Production and Processing

COTAC RANGE
Creping agents for use on Yankee cylinders for control of tissue quality, protection of the cylinders and to increase the life of the doctor blades.
There are also specialist products for cleaning and providing edge protection on Yankee cylinders.
SOFTLAYER RANGE
A softener for use in the paper pulp and for spraying on the felt. There are also topical softeners available for specialist applications.
DE-COTAC RANGE
An additive for breaking down recycled paper waste during pulping.
PETROZYM RANGE
Various enzyme products for enhanced tensile strength and savings in refiner energy.
ISOFOAM RANGE
Deaerators and defoamers for treatment of the water circuits in paper making machines.
FEROCLEAN RFS RANGE
Cleaners for the cleaning of wires, felts, machine frames and for systematic cleaning of the water circuits. Petrofer provide products for both on the run and shock treatment.
FEROCLEAN LIME
A lime inhibitor and descaler to remove water salts from fan pumps and water circuits.
FEROCLEAN CS RANGE
Special products for biocidal treatment of primary and secondary circuits. Suitable for continuous dosing and shock treatment applications.
ISOGRIND PAP
A fluid for regrinding steel doctor blades.
EQUIPMENT
An extensive range of chemical dosage and application equipment for the paper industry is available, along with customised packages as required.
COTAC 79E- Tail Tie Glue
Product for sealing the loose tail to the roll eliminating wrinkles and jams further downstream and other product quality issues.
SAWLUB PAP 10- Log Saw Lubricant
Lubricant is applied to the log saw to reduce heat generated by the friction from cutting the rolls. Also giving a cleaner cut and reducing rosin and glue build up on the blade.
COTAC G- Core Glues
Used to adhere the core laminations providing superior strength and optimal shape of the cores.
EMBOLUB 10 D- Embossing Roll Oil
Prevents the build-up of glue and/ or fibres on the embossing and Dandy rolls. It also reduces the smell of embossing from the process and finished sheet.
SOFTLAYER RANGE
Can be sprayed onto the tissue at the converting process to increase softness of the tissue.
COTAC PG
Ply bonding glue. Quick drying to a transparent finish.
