Die-casting and Forging
PETROFER has a complete range of high-quality release agents for forging processes as well as for high pressure die-casting operations. Our UK Service Engineers are also available to conduct inspections of the in use products to ensure uninterrupted and cost-effective manufacturing with a maximised service life of production equipment. We also offer all the other fluid requirements for high pressure die-casting foundries, forges and hot metalworking processes.
DIE-LUBRIC RANGE
The range includes water dilutable and water-free release agents for die-casting of aluminium, magnesium, zinc and other alloys. Wax-containing and wax-free products are available as well as our award winning bio-resistant formulations for cleaner, safer more efficient casting release. Petrofer also offer cost effective special products for novel minimal spray application methods.
PISTON LUBRICANT RANGE
Graphite-free and graphited oil plunger lubrication together with recently developed high lubricity synthetic liquid plunger fluids.
PISTON POWDER RANGE
Graphite containing and graphite free granulated powder ensuring a clean environment with minimum consumption and waste.
PLUNGER LUBRICATION EQUIPMENT
Petrofer offer simple to operate, robust digitally controlled equipment for the effective application of both liquid and powder type plunger lubrication.
TRANSTHERM RANGE
Includes both synthetic and traditional mineral oil based heat transfer fluids for die-heater units, cooling equipment and other heat transfer operations. All of our heat transfer products have been designed to give outstanding thermal stability and resistance to oxidisation.

ULTRA-SAFE 620

Corrosion protection emulsion used in water quench tanks designed to protect cooled castings from staining and oxidation.
DIE-FORGENT RANGE
All of our forging lubricants are designed to give maximum lubrication and release even in the most arduous forging processes. We can offer graphite-containing or graphite-free products, available in water dilutable or use as supplied formulations. We also have special products for circulating systems in automatic forging machines.
