August Charity Contribution

This month it is the turn of our Managing Director, Stuart, to nominate a charity.

Chernobyl Childrens Project

These are totally innocent victims of a man made disaster, not war or religion that have been forgotten about by society. So many children are born with handicaps or develop diseases linked to the high radiation levels still around in their food and water. They have such poor support/medication and no hope for life, that they are just put into “care homes” where they will spend their remaining days in squalid conditions. No future, no education, no medication and no hope. It is thought that 1/2million kids have type 1 diabetes alone from the radioactive food affecting their bodies, that very penny donated helps in simple items such as needles and insulin. All the money donated is traceable and is to help build schools, provide clothing and importantly doctors with correct medication available. It gives innocent children the chance of a future.
